The biggest cost in an IT department is really the people
costs. Seventeen years in the
computer field has taught us that much time is wasted that need not be.
Rather than put all our effort into supporting problems after they happen
we have come up with a way to proactively take care of the problems through
education.
We provide a few solutions to training employees in the
use of their computers that overcome many of the obstacles associated with
other training options. We have a training program that can be tailored to
your company in which we provide one hour of training per month for twelve
months. General training is available at convenient sites near you or if you
have enough employees it can be provided in your office for a flat rate per hour. Traditional training methods involve going to a
training center, getting an intense four to eight hour session in one subject
for one employee at a cost that prohibits getting all employees trained.
The employees learn a number of things that do not apply to their job and
usually are saturated with information long before the class is complete.
Many people have tried to overcome these downfalls by purchasing training
classes on CD. Although this solves the cost issue it does not solve the
time the lessons take and the retention of the information after sitting down to
struggle through the lesson. Basically most people do not learn well in
that environment. Our plan keeps the lessons relevant and brief. The
attendees will be able to apply what they have learned and be ready for the next
session. It is best if people from the same company go through training together
as they will help each other to use
what they have learned. The personal touch by the trainer and the support
of peers is a much better way for people to learn. You can download a
brochure describing our training at this location

your area.
This training applies well to a
typical business setting, however there are other possibilities. A
non-profit organization could use our training program to provide free or low
cost computer education to the people they serve as well as their staff.
Retirement communities can provide low cost training to their seniors desiring
to learn more about the information age. Churches could use our training
programs as a method of helping their membership to improve professionally and
stay employed or to reach out to their local community. Any of these
organizations could charge for the class and it could become a money maker
